Boussier J NV started as a traditional buyer and seller of strawberries and cherries in and around Borgloon in the early 1900’s. Frederic Boussier bought the produce from the local farmers and sold it on the markets.
Borgloon is at the heart of the main fruit-growing region of Haspengouw, which has an exceptionally loamy soil, ideal for producing juicy fruit with a delicious and sweet taste.
More than one hundred years later, the company has grown into a respected fresh fruit trading company from Belgium, (Haspengouw and Hageland).
The third generation, Jacques Boussier, and fourth generation, Raf and Annick Boussier, have become the driving force behind this continuously expanding export company.
